06/2019-07/2019, L3, Geological Engineering (CMIgéoc) from University of Bordeaux. Roxane was very enthusiastic during this short internship, in which we improved the toolbox to invert data for the InSight project. I gave her a set of synthetic data computed for Mars models in order to locate marsquakes. We realised that the inverse of the Hessian matrix has to be used to stabilise the solution. Roxane and I wrote everything in Python, and these tools are still used in the tutorials of my “Inverse Problem” course. They were then integrated into my Fortran code “MarsMTInversion”, which became the engine of Alice Jacob’s PhD thesis. After this internship, Roxane joined the Master’s programme at IPGP.
